Who is behind the platform
die-krankenkasse.ch belongs to FinanceRock GmbH, Cham. It is an untied insurance intermediary and is entered in FINMA’s register of insurance intermediaries under number F01496799. The platform is not a health insurer and is not owned by any health insurer.
Our business model in one sentence
The comparison is free for you. FinanceRock GmbH only earns money if you get advice from it and take out a contract as a result; the insurer then pays remuneration.
When we earn nothing
- You compare premiums, read guides or use a tool: nothing.
- You switch your basic health insurance yourself, with a cancellation letter and directly with the new insurer: nothing.
- You save calculations in your account or set up a premium alert: nothing.
Every result row shows the question “Do we earn anything here?” with an honest answer.
When we earn something
Only when advice through FinanceRock GmbH leads to a contract:
If you take out a policy through FinanceRock, the insurer pays a fee: at most CHF 70 per person for basic health insurance, at most 16 monthly premiums for supplementary insurance. The advice is free for you; the ranking in the comparison is never influenced by it.
| Insurance | Maximum remuneration | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Basic health insurance (HIA) | CHF 70 per insured person | Industry agreement, generally binding since 01.09.2024 (Annex 2 KVAV) |
| Supplementary insurance (ICA) | 16 net monthly premiums per contract | Industry agreement, generally binding since 01.09.2024 (Annex 7 ISO) |
If you cancel within one year, the intermediary must repay the remuneration in full, and at least half of it in the second year. On request, we tell you the exact rates per insurer before any advisory session (Art. 45b ISA).
What you will not find here
- No paid placements. No insurer can buy a better position. The default sort order is by premium, visible and traceable.
- No hidden insurers. The calculator shows all health insurers and insurance models in your region, including those from which we earn nothing.
- No exclusive contracts. FinanceRock GmbH is not tied to any insurer (Art. 182c ISO).
- No stakes held by insurers. No insurer holds a stake in FinanceRock GmbH; the law prohibits untied intermediaries from having an insurer hold more than 10 %.
- No sale of contact details. We do not pass addresses on to insurers or other intermediaries.
- No advertising by insurers and no sponsored content.
How we handle requests
Contact only happens if you ask for it. You choose the channel and time slot; FinanceRock GmbH gets in touch only that way. There is no cold calling, not even through partners. For every request, we log its origin (page, time, consent), as required by the industry agreement.
Advertising on Google
FinanceRock GmbH places ads on Google. How we measure their success without tracking you is explained in the Privacy policy.
